Default Time Between Arrest And Getting a Court Date

Hi I wonder about how long does it take to get a summon of court date from police after getting caught?

Actually my incident was 3 month ago, and i didn't receive nor heard anything from the police.

I have worked for about every company that has loss prevention in my area I have seen about everything you could think of and full of information on this.
hi... when my inident happened, It was 3 month ago n i havn't heard anyhting from police since then.

The staff said. " IF I PAY THE FINE, THEY WONT REPORT TO POLICE"
and they did not call the police.

I wonder that when they say such thing, do they mean it most of the time, or they just wanna make the thing go smoother and later procecute you? im sorry if i seem to ask the same thing over n over,,but im really worried still..oh, and the place i got caught was in UK,,,so they might have much different prosecuting system and timeline?

nattaliea yea with you being in the UK I have know idea how their system works but if it like the US it sound like they just civiled you and you should recieve a "bill" from the company where you was caught and no police is involved
