Default Grand Theft of the 3rd Degree

Ok guys just found this website today. I have a simple question. today i got pulled over and they told me i have arrest warrant in tampa florida for grand theft of the 3rd degree with a $2000 bond. honestly i have no idea what it can be for. They issued the warrant back in 2005 .

Now i have to travel to Venezuela for a business trip first thing on monday monring. I have no way to go to tampa florida to pay this bond before that time.

my question is that i have to stop by miami to travel internationally. What are the chances of me getting picked up. I want to know if they will pick me up on departure , or arrival? I dont have a problem getting picked up after i am back. i will have the bond money.

also if i get detained and i have the 2000 cash, will i be able to bond myself out on my own? or should someone else have the money to bail me out?

The chances? All I can do is guess. The odds are you'll not be detained, but you can't know in advance.

There's nothing wrong with being prepared to pay your bond, but to also have a back-up plan.

Well Guess What. I Traveled To Venezuela With No Trouble , But On My Return I Was Detained By Us Customs. Because Of The Warrant In Tampa. Miami Dade Police Picked Me Up And Arrested Me. I Was In Jail For 2 Days. Until I Bonded Out For 2000. So If This Answer Anyone Questions About Flying With A Warrant Now You Know. If You Have A Warrant You Can Fly Anywhere As Long As You Dont Have To Go Through Customs. But If You Have To Go Through Customs, Then Try To Avoid The State Where You Have The Warrant.
