Default Adjudication of guilt withheld or having a charge dismissed

In Florida, I was charged with burglary of a dwelling. My lawyer negotiated to 3 years probation and adjudication of guilt withheld. I was curious as to whether or not it would be possible to get the charge dismissed after the probation or whether it will always be adjudication of guilt withheld.

    Default Ask your lawyer

You can ask your lawyer if he can try to get the prosecutor to agree to let you withdraw your guilty plea, such that the charge can be dismissed.

Does it make a difference that I pled no contest?

    Default No Contest

A "no contest" plea is treated in the same way by a sentencing court as a "guilty" plea.
