but i heard it's better to just plea guilty , therefore either i can plea guilty and MABYE get diversion if she decides...or plead not guilty and hire a public defender and then go back to court and request that? would i plea guilty the second time?

If a prosecutor is present, the prosecutor may be willing to offer plea bargains to unrepresented individuals. The sensible thing, though, is to get help from a lawyer.

"but i heard it's better to just plea guilty" - you heard this from whom? The guy who bags your groceries?

no i just thought if you own up to it then it looks like your taking responsiblity for your actions. Do Public defenders cost money?
how will i know if the prosecuter is going to be there?

Generally no but once case is over Judges often have defendant pay PD a small sum like $100.00 an hours he works on case 30 minutes you owe $50.00. This is not guranteed but possible it still better than the $1000.00 to $2000.00 hiring your own Attorney would cost

Your not going to get an offer unless the DA meets with you before court and you have already been told doing that without an Attorney is not wise
