Default Termination of Contract after Home Inspection

Our buyers decided to terminate the sales contract for the purchase of our home after conducting an inspection. Their reason for terminating the contract was that they felt there was "too much work to do." The inspection report revealed "minor repair items of which, none would play a major role in deciding to purchase the property." The buyers have not even offered us an opportunity to negotiate repairs. Is it within their legal rights to terminate the contact based on little or no substantial cause?

    Default Termination of Purchase Agreement

That depends upon the terms of the purchase agreement. You may wish to have the agreement and inspector's report reviewed by a local lawyer.
