Default Does a New Attorney Get Time to Prepare for Court Hearings

I had an attorney that did very little in pre lims , as far as cross examining goes. This left little for my case to use at jury trial. At pre-trial I fired My attorney. But with only days away to jury trial, my new attorney cannot get transcipts or supplimental info, affidavits from my old attorney. Does the court have to give my new attorney time to establish my case properly? And could my new attorney remand to pre lims? The case is in oklahoma, Tulsa county Thank you

Your new lawyer can petition the court for an adjournment. Sometimes a court will want to adhere to the existing schedule.
