    Question Suspicion of Burglary

Here is what happened. On august 25th there was a burglary in a building at the apartment complex in which I currently live. I also work for the company that owns the complex and work at said complex. 1 week prior to the burglary I was in the apartment installing a ceiling fan with the tenants present. The tenants mentioned my name to the police because of this. A day after the burglary took place I was asked to come down to the station to answer some questions. The cops showed up at my house but I was away and my parents allowed them to search my room.Once I got home I went to the station and the officer proceeded to make up stuff and try to threaten me into a confession. I said only that "I had access to master keys but did not have them in my possession once I was out of work. In fact I only had them when I had a work order allowing me to enter an apartment to complete a work order. " The officer was going on and on about how it had to be an inside job because the front door was unlocked and they said the tenants never use it. This statement was a lie. These people use that door ALL the time - the husband smokes and the wife does not and he uses it to access the patio. After almost 45 min of being verbally assaulted and threated with a beating ("I wish it was the 30's so I could just beat a confession out of a person") I told the officer that I needed a cigarette and he said I would have to go outside. So I went outside, smoked my cig, and then told the office that I was going home and that if I was going to be spoken to again I was going to have a lawyer present. Almost a month goes by and I get a call from a detective asking me to come in to answer some more questions. I inform him that I would like to get a lawyer to be there because of what happened the first time I went in. He said that was fine and to get back to him in a week or so. I got laid off the next day. Yesterday the detective came to my house and wanted me to come in but I still don't have a lawyer because I can not afford one and he told me to possibly think about coming in without one but gave me some more time. He stated that he has to talk to me one way or the other. Here are my questions:

    1. If it has been over a month and the detective is just now wanting to talk to me I am betting that they lack any probable cause to arrest me on suspicion. Any finger prints in the house are there by circumstance as I was in there to install a ceiling fan. Is this a correct assumption?

2.What should I expect to happen once I go in? I was planning on going in on friday just to get this all over.

I have nothing to do with this. I have an alibi that is rock solid for my whereabouts during the crime. The only thing I worry about is that I got rid of some games the day the crime happened. I am freaking out because what If some games were taken and the cops see that I sold some that day as well. I guess that there is nothing unique about a game so it would be impossible to trace back to an owner, but given the timing it looks suspicious.

3.Are the evidence standards higher for felony cases? If one piece of circumstantial evidence is all the DA had to go on would there even be a case?

Sorry about how long this was but i need help.
