Default Form I-485 and Inspection by an Immigration Officer

On form I-485 there is a question: Were you inspected by a U.S. Immigration Officer. Does this mean an actual inspection (like where your luggage is searched through at an airport) or just going through the immigration booth and getting your passport stamped?????
