Default Infant Born Abroad to a Green Card Holder Dad

    Hi
Does anyone know the specific regulation that states that a newborn child of a green card holder is entitled to a green card provided that he/she enters the country with the green card parent on the first trip back for the parent after the birth?
I would like to have a copy with me when present at the border.

    Thanks
    Joey

You should contact the closest U.S. embassy or consulate to ensure that your proof of relationship will be adequate at the border.
