Default Divorce of Disabled Spouse in Oregon

I live in Oregon. My husband was hurt in an accident several years ago. He has a head injury and is diagnosed bipolar. He receives disability payments from SS. I do not want to divorce him, but he continually buys and hides items and obtains credit which I don't know about until the limit is reached and he can't pay the payments. I have worked so hard to keep the bills paid that it's taken a toll on my health and emotions. What can I do, since he's unwilling to receive medical or psychiatric help?

You can get divorced. You may need to ask the court to appoint a guardian ad litem for him, to protect his interests in the divorce process. I suggest that you work with a lawyer.
