In early 2006, our 17 year old was sentenced with "felony assault" under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act. Since then, he has consistently held down a job, completed high school and completed 3 college classes successfully. He has also paid off all his fines. He has served about 1.5 years of his 3 year probation sentence. Is it possible for him to be let off of probation early under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act?

(Note: The Holmes Act allows youth to have their plea suspended and if they complete the terms of their probation, their record is expunged and the conviction does not result in their full sentence/jail time etc.)
