Question Fiance Coming by B1/B2 Visa and Wants to Get Married

My fiance is coming over from taiwan and we are wondering what we can do to get married and what paper work we have to do. she is coming over on a b1/b2 visa. Evan if we could get married now and everything we only want to stay here in the states for a year then go back to taiwan for a year. What is the best way for me and her to solve all of this.

Default Re: Fiance Coming by B1/B2 Visa and Wants to Get Married

You would apply for a marriage license in the place where you want to get married, then get married.

Note that if he attempts to adjust his status on the basis of marriage, after entering with intent to marry on a B visa, he risks having his entry deemed fraudulent (a bad thing). You may want to make sure he remains in status while he is in the U.S., go to Taiwan with him, then petition for him to come back to the U.S. on a K-3 (spouse) visa.
