First Offense Possession of Marijuana in Rhode Island

I just turned 18yo. I was arrested at a music festival with a joint and less than a quarter ounce of marijuana. My "re-arraignment" date is tomorrow 8/6/07. What does this mean and what should I expect?

Criminal procedures are different in each state. A "re-arraignment" may indicate that the charge has been amended, it may be a "change of plea" hearing (e.g., you requested a hearing where you can change a "not guilty" plea to "guilty"), or it may be that you indicated that you wanted to consult counsel at your original arraignment and thus a subsequent "rearraignment' was scheduled. Or it could be something else, but the effect is the same - it's another arraignment.
