Grandparent's Rights After Termination of Parental Rights in Arkansas

Well, Well, Well how do I begin......I will make this very short and then see were it gets me. For the long version of this story you may view my website I have built about this tail of deception. I would like to know the following question. If a parents rights have been terminated by CPS and then the children were placed for adoption to strangers, can the grandparent file in court to be granted visitation rights by the court with the NOW adopted family? Does that make sense?

When a parent's rights to a child are terminated, the normal consequence is that the extended family's rights are terminated as well. I am not aware of any state which permits grandparents to get court-ordered visitation following termination of parental rights and adoption.

I have adopted 4 children. At the time of adoption the adopting parents can agree to allow visitation with grandparents or any relative. I did with the first child I adopted. I regret it. It was not court ordered. I since have discontinued.

So what I am hearing is that if a child who has been adopted at the age of 9 and 10 years old and they know there blood grandmother very well, that more then likely the children will not get to know the grandma is wanting to see them till they are 18 years of age. Is that called the "best interest of the child" situation? I can not see how it could benefit? You know when the kids get older that they are going to want to know WHY? They are girls too.
