    Default Paying a Default Judgement

Pennsylvania - A Default judgement was entered against me in 2006 from Wolpoff & Abramson and was filed within statute of limitation period, for money I owe on a credit card. I want to pay this debt, but cannot afford to pay in full. The judgement entered totals about $4000 with the late payments, interest and fees they tacked on. Should I hire an attorney to try to negotiate a payment plan with them, or contact W & A myself?

Try contacting them yourself. For a $4,000 debt, it probably isn't cost-effective to hire a lawyer.
