    Default Parole Violation

My sister in law was released on parole four months ago to her husband’s place. Since then she has been behaving like a kid a candy store.

She has since moved (guess to her new boyfriend’s place) and has not informed her P.O. about that or changes in telephone numbers. She is not suppose to go to the bar buts he is there almost daily where this new guy she is seeing works there as a bouncer, and I know one or two times I had to drive her home before her move because she drank to excess. Plus she has gone out of the state/crossed stateliness a couple of times while on dates with this new person.

I know I know she is just begging to go back to jail.

What are my options, can I report these findings to her P.O. without my name coming up down the road that I sent in information?

Also I know there is a 50/50 chance that she may or will be going back to jail should the P.O. investigate – can my sister and I appeal to both the P.O. and the board to have her under strict house arrest instead of jail time (e.g. work, home and church)?

    Any advice will really help.

If you write an anonymous letter to the probation department and it is investigated, you can expect that your sister-in-law would see the letter but not necessarily know who sent it. Your report would probably be deemed more credible if you attached your name to it.

I guess I am still wondering if my letter will be shown to her if my name was attached to it.....
