She or her attorney would really need to talk to the prosecutor handling the case--her situation is what I would call a suspension due to error. If she furnishes the prosecutor with info from the insurance company showing the error, he or she may move to have it dismissed so she does not have to show up in court. She would also then need to follow through with DMV to make sure that they removed the suspension from her driving record. These are two different things she would need to address seperately--one with the Court and one with the DMV.
