Unhappy Slow Pay for Overtime and Expense Reimbursement

I am hourly and service across 4 states. My trade is field service engineer. Both myself and all other engineers are paid OT for time over 40 that is not standby or holiday vac etc.

I, and others have waited as long as 2-3 months to get our overtime and expense reimbursment. Is there really anything that can be done about a "slow pay"?

It is really hard to keep up with what is being paid and if they are paying properly.

We also have a directive that the on call person call us anytime one of our sites are down for information or response, should we be paid on call since the actual on call person is directed to call on our off hours? If we don't respond on our berries within 15 minutes it is escallated to our boss, but there is no written directive on answering the call- it is implied.

    Thanks!!

You can complain to the DOL of the state where you are based.

You're either trying to get your money, or you're not. Or, you just came here to vent. Which is it?

If you want to get your money, call.
If you don't want to get your money, do nothing.
If you want to vent, I can't help you!

It is illegal to take any adverse action against you because you complained to the DOL.
