    Default Can I backout of the Buying the Home

    Hi

    I gave an offer on home and also removed the contingencies. Now I am having problem in financing. I will may not be able to close the deal as agreed upon. Is there any way I can backout of this deal without any leagal issues. I am going to loose my deposit. Please advice

    Default Removing contingencies from home sale

    This, of course, is why people include contingencies in home sale contracts. Your best approach is probably to approach the buyer and see if they will work with you if your closing is delayed. If you want to get out of the contract altogether, I suggest you retain an attorney to assist you.
