    Default DC Judges' Suit

Maybe this is in the wrong place, if so please relocate it for me.

What is the deal with this Judge suing the dry cleaners for $54M over pants? He lost the suit and is now wanting to callenge the sign of "Satisfaction Guarranteed".

Am I the only one who sees this as deliberate misuse of valuable court time? I read his suit and can only find real damages of a few hundred dollars. The judge opted to rent a car and drive across town to another cleaner. That was his decision, why would feel the cleaner is responsible for that expense?

OK, so all that gets tossed. But, the sign.... I cannot see where it would say "satisfaction guarranteed of we'll pay you $54M". I would, as well as many others, take that to mean "or your money back".

Any legal eagles wanna chime in?? How would you advise this judge if he were your client? Would you have taken a case like that?

Speaking of judges, has anyone heard from SeniorJudge?

OH GOD!!!! You think he died? That is what you were referring to when you said "someplace warm" isn't it. After all, that is where all lawyers go, isn't it?

The judge is representing himself because nobody would touch him as a client.

Looking over some pasts posts, I read this one. Zedex, this Judge is bonkers, as vickash states. He has made a mockery of the court's and the US judicial system so he can be a big shot and show the world how much law knowledge he has, well the court disagreed, June decision, and his job is in jeopardy.

Last I read on this case a law panel was deciding whether to reappoint him to his administrative Judgeship.

Here is the Court's opinion if anyone is interested in reading it.

    Judgment entry:

As Aaron so rightly points out, NO lawyer would touch it. They knew if they did thier reputation would disintegrate faster than the speed of light.

This man cost the dry cleaner operator's, the Chung's, untold grief and hardship due to an inflated legal ego.

The Judge's ruling helped restore our faith in the system.

Here is an august article on it.

I don't know if a final decision has been handed down yet?
