Maybe this is in the wrong place, if so please relocate it for me.
What is the deal with this Judge suing the dry cleaners for $54M over pants? He lost the suit and is now wanting to callenge the sign of "Satisfaction Guarranteed".
Am I the only one who sees this as deliberate misuse of valuable court time? I read his suit and can only find real damages of a few hundred dollars. The judge opted to rent a car and drive across town to another cleaner. That was his decision, why would feel the cleaner is responsible for that expense?
OK, so all that gets tossed. But, the sign.... I cannot see where it would say "satisfaction guarranteed of we'll pay you $54M". I would, as well as many others, take that to mean "or your money back".
Any legal eagles wanna chime in?? How would you advise this judge if he were your client? Would you have taken a case like that?
