Getting Out Of My Father's Home

ok im 17 and me and my dad do not get along what so ever and hes told me repeatedly that hes through with me yet he still wont let me go and live with my mom. i want to live with my mom but i dont think that thats a choice at this point in time because she isnt finacialy stable enough to support me and my sister and my step dad. He has made me depressed to the point where i have thought of suicide but i havent because i have a boyfriend who is 19 and loves and cares about me. But he has made me call my boyfriend and tell him to never contact me again and now he tells me that if he calls me or i call him hes putting my boyfriend in jail and me in juvie for being an unrulely child. HELP ME! wha can i do?? is there anyway to get away from my dad with out going into the military?? i want to marry my boyfriend but does my he have to ask my dad or can he just ask my mom??

If your dad is your custodial parent, you need your dad's permission to marry.

You wait till your 18 and move out! Your Father has legal authority over you an doutside of court ruling that wont change. Nothing you have said warrants a change. It sounds like a typical teen rant like we see here countless times.

sorry but try living with someone who is an alcoholic and goes out every night and comes home trashed and treats me like im nothing. and also is a huge pothead!! that sells drugs out of my house. not that easy and im sure you dont know what its like. its fantastic!! you should try it sometime and see for yourself why us teens rant!

Not all teens live in those homes. You failed to mention any of that in your post so how would anyone know. If ther eis abuse then contact CPS it is their job to investigate abuse and if need be remove children from home

yeah ive tried that they dont do anything and my dad just lies to them about everything so ive given up on that. and it is true but people wont even look into it because they are always going to believe an adult over a teen or child anyday!!

Thats not true. Report it again find proof or talk to the CPS counselors Supervisor
