Lightbulb Can't Afford Legal Fees For Bankruptcy

Here's my situation, I have way too much debt, and no income (aside from veterans disability). Part of which is for depression which was later diagnosed as Bipolar Disorder. Over the course of the past year I went from making 80k as a Network Engineer to losing everything and moving into my girlfriends home with only $225 a month from the VA.

I've been out of work nearly a year, in a depressive state, I had survived off of my 401k that I cashed out (took the tax hit) which did help me pay some bills. but that well has long since been dry, and I haven't been able to get work, i send my resume in but get nothing. Part of which I firmly believe it is the length of time since my last job, and companies fear I will leave them because of "salary requirements" when i state what I was earning when I know they are paying less, I just want to work.

I am now getting sued for debt, I know I can not pay (at this time) and I am considering filing BK, and was wondering if any Lawyer (NJ) and not a paralegal would be willing to barter IT services in exchange for representation or know of one that will?

If you interested take a look at my resume I posted it online in a desperate attempt to get help. I reduced myself to internet panhadling, has not worked.

I may be "crazy" but I am high functioning and honest about it.

    Thank you.
    Alex

If you want to find a law firm to barter with you, try contacting law firms and bartering.
