Default I Want A Release From My Lease

I am going through this situation where my roommate won't release me off our apartment lease. Her mother, Her, and I are all on the lease. I have tried a couple of times to legally leave the apartment without leaving my name on the lease. Well... It has gotten to the point where I had to pack and leave last week @ 11pm. My roommate was arrested for 2 warrants. Her and her mother keep harrasing me and her boyfriend who was staying with us at our apartment was drug dealing and was just recently murdered. I woke up every morning finding random people at the house, and parties will go on until 4-6am. I had notified my apartment manager. But since he was confronted by roommates mom that we were dating he won't return my calls and we stopped seeing each other. I feel very hurt and betrayed by my apartment manager since he said he would help me out and ended up leaving in this hard situation. I want to be off the lease for security and safety reasons. From what I have heard my roommate and her mother both want to sue me. I need some advice ASAP cause it's really stressing me out.

    Default Problem with Co-Tenants

Your larger problem is that your lease isn't with your roommates, but is with the landlord. The fact that you chose bad roommates doesn't affect your obligations to the landlord in the event that your roommates fail to pay the rent or cause damage to the apartment. Perhaps your landlord will permit you to make some form of one-time payment to be released from the lease. You may still have some obligation to your roommates, but from what you have said they won't look very sympathetic if they try to enforce it (and you would appear to have some good defenses to any claim they might bring).
