Default Getting Legal Help For Custody Case

    hello,

I am trying to help a friend. She has just been served with divorce papers, and her husband wants to take her children.

Without going into details... she has little means with which to secure any legal help in this matter. So...

My question is this: Where can she begin? What should be her first step in acquiring legal help?

If anyone could PLEASE help me here.... I would be very grateful.

    thanks

Default Inexpensive Legal Help for Divorce

Your friend may wish to consider approaching legal aid or law school clinical law programs.

If her husband has more significant means, she may wish to talk to an attorney about trying to get a court to order him to release some funds to her to hire a lawyer.

    Thank you Aaron,

But... I'm afraid it is no longer necessary...
