    Default Civil Demand

Can a store send a civil demand to someone that was detained for shoplifting in their store if they DID NOT sign any paperwork whatsoever, ie admission of theft, etc.? Just wondering - thanks.

Yes they can. Signning the paperwork is not a requirement for Civil Demand if it was no one would sign
