Default Re: Confronted After Giving Cashier My Email Address

How giving someone your email address is beyond me to be accused of being a pedaphile or something. Its the same as handing someone a business card.

Contacting Mcdonalds corporate was the only thing I could think of doing to let them know what happened and how it was handled.

If I was calling the girl or following her or something like that, I could see someone getting spooked. But to get an email address off a customer you see every day for months, Spooked? or downright Drama?

As said its very doubtful anything will happen. I did not call you a pedophile I said her Manager may have thought you one or someone otherwise dangerous. It could be presumed your stalking her as you go there everyday! Contacting Mc Donald's when there was no action against you where you admit your actions was not wise. as you were told just stay away from there. Let this just go away! The Manager acted as I would have. He/she was protecting his/her employee who happens to be a minor!

Don't take me wrong, I appreciate your advice and comments. I have been going to the same Mcdonalds for the last year at the same times every day, months before this girl even started.

Sadly, it is located like 2 blocks from where I live. So I go by it every day to work and home.

I could see your point on contacting corporate. I probably shouldn't of contacted them. I am wondering what they would do anyway?

I am just frustrated that I even gave her my email address if I would of known it would cause this kind of reaction. I just figured it gave her the option of emailing me or throwing it away.

Its just got me frazzled. I never have gotten into any trouble and don't need any.

Oh, cmmon. Nothing happened. You can go to McDonalds' for as many hanburgers as you want and it really was innocent. You did not threaten her, you did not offer her anything illegal. You are fine and stop tripping, be a man.

All OP did was raise some red flags on concern so unless there was more to then note he passed than said he need not worry but I would suggest you try another Fast Food stop
