Finding Out About A Relative's Arrest

Hey everyone,
My brother was arrested on Monday and I just found out today from his dad. He was arrested in Lancaster CA Los Angeles county by a CHP. I looked his inmate info and it says there is no release date but there is a court date. And it says he is charged with a Misdomeaner, but nothing more specific than that. Plus they took him to Twin Towers in LA instead of the jail in Lancaster. And he is scheduled to appear in seven days at the Lancaster Court House

My question is:
1 Why would they send him to LA when they arrested him on the other side of the county when they could have took him in at Lancaster.

2 How come there is no release date, but a court date.

3 How can I found out more on why he was arrested, because he hasn't called us for some reason ( by "us" I mean our MOM)

They may not have had space in the Lancaster jail. He doesn't have a release date because he hasn't been sentenced. The jail may be able to tell you an arrest charge, as may the court clerk. You can also check the court's website to see if the court offers any online case information.

That would be unlikely since Twin Towers in LA is notorious for being overcrowded, but thanks for the advice

The only way you can get a certain answer is to find out from the jail system.
