TX - My fiance has visitation of his almost 3 year old daughter every other weekend. For the last 3 visitations she has come over with a rash on her vaginal area that is so bad it looks like someone has rubbed a poison ivy leaf on her. We have treated the rash and it gets better by the time she leaves. During the last 8 months she has shown up with a rash 95% of the time. She is potty trained and only wears a diaper at night so the rash seems to be more of a result of her not being properly bathed than a diaper rash. 3 weeks ago she started making orgasm sounds in the car. This past weekend my sister was babysitting her and she was itching her crotch a lot. The she pulled down her pants, started grabbing her private area and said that she had crabs. She stated that crabs don't bite they just itch. We also just found out that her mother has moved her and the daughter in with her boyfriend's family and the mother and boyfriend currently live in a 500 sq. ft. garage that is not attached to the house. We are not sure whether the the daughter is sharing the garage with them or if she lives in the house with the boyfriends parents who live in a pretty bad part of town where drugs and violence are prevalent. Prior to this move the mother and daughter had their own house out in the country. We are worried because the child's behavior has changed dramatically over the last few weeks. Before she was happy and playful and talked to people and now she is withdrawn, quiet, and generally hides around other people including her grandparents whom she has always been excited to see and always had a good relationship with. Is there cause for concern based on her change of behavior and the things she has been stating? What are the chances of my boyfriend getting custody based on the above even though his current custody agreement has been in effect for less than a year (we also have a long record of other things from the past year)? He owns a house (which we live in together), has a job, and has never missed a visitation date or child support payment.
