Felony Shoplifting

My neice is in jail right now for felony shoplifting. They have her on video a couple different occasions.She goes monday morning for her trial.1st time offense. but she's a good girl otherwise.She's on the top 100 people for the national honor society. a student,never any trouble before,goes to career center for CNA has licsene. went to summer school so she could get more credits to go to college.Plus school full time starting in a week.Has retirement home job bathing people.Now she facing jail time criminal record, affraid she might lose her job and her career and college.she's hoping to get pre trial diversion. But the amount she stole was over $2000. bail is 50,000 10% would be 500 to get her out of jail. what are her chances for her ? Some one please answer I worried about her future Indiana

I got a "D" in algebra, but that not withstanding, 10% of $50,000 is $5000.
