Hello there!
In 2002 I went to the US on a I-94 visa waiver to simply stay with a friend for just 1 month. But I loved the place (California) and made a decision to stay and to figure out how to become legal "as time went by"... But I of course didn't succeed. I did everything wrong... really. After 10 months I was cought by INS agents, I signed papers to voluntarily deport the US for 10 years. I didn't like the fact of waiting in prison any longer to face a judge that for sure was going to deport me either way. I have no crimincal charges against me, just a few traffic citations. I'm a good boy that now is about to become 26 years old and want to visit the US again as a tourist.
The facts:
I overstayed with 10 months on top of the 3 months visa waiver period. In total I was in the US for a 1 year + 2 weeks or so.
Now back in Sweden, I've matured, running my own company, plus employed at another company, have a house with my girl. I have no intent what so ever at immigrating or overstaying in the US.
All I wish for is to go to the US as a tourist with my girlfriend for a 1-2 week vacation, to meet up with the friends I made and also re-visit the many places I've been to.
Would this be possible before my 10 year deportation is over?
