1 of my house mates among the total 5 (including myself) has decided to move out of the apartment for the duration of his lease. He cannot get out of the lease and will continue to pay rent until his lease expires. However, he refuses to pay for the utilities (Gas, Electric, Cable, & Internet) for the duration of his absence. He has already been present for approximately 1 year and had agreed to and had paid for 1/5 of these utilities already. Do I have sufficient grounds to sue him in order to pay the remaining 1/5 of theses bills?
