Question The Verdict From A Written Trial

I decided to contest my ticket (3 citations) through a written trial. I turned it in on the last day, June 14th, and was told that the officer would have until July 14th to complete his side. On July 17th, I recieved a Notice of Correction and Proof of Service indicating that one of my citations was taken off and only two remained (the date on the form was July 6th). I don't really understand what this is, there is no information on the form, the phone number is wrong, and the back is empty (the front says that the proof of service would be on the reverse).
What is this paper? Is this the result of my trial? Did the judge make the officer send me this? Or did he just send me this because he really thought it was an error? Does this affect my written trial in any way? PLEASE HELP!

    Thank you,
    Diane

It looks like the officer dismissed one of the tickets on his own. The other two are still open.

That is what I was thinking, too. How long does a verdict for a written trial usually take?
