Blacked Out While Driving

I blacked out while going to work early today, next thing I know my car is jacked up on the curb. OK some good women joggers stopped by and helped me, called police. Asked if I was on any medications , I told the three I am on Blood pressure, thyroid, and mood stabilizer. Have been on them for months. The officer said I could be charged with driving while under the influence of a substance. I was issued a careless driving ticket and brought to hospital where tests were done. I am sure a drug screen was probably one of the tests. I don't use illicit drugs or alcohol. And I have been on these meds for months. I plan to go to court to try to avoid points on my record. I had no indication that my driving was impaired due to these meds I take. If there was a problem I would not have driven my car. Any feedback on the outcome of similar situations?
Oh yea, I'm in Jersey, Ticket / incident in Bernards Township.

Do you have any history of blackouts? Did your doctors advise you that these drugs could cause blackouts, separately or in combination? What does your doctor say about the blackout?
