    Default Chapter 20 Bankruptcy

We consulted an attorney and they recommended that we file a chapter 7 then a chapter 13 after the discharge.
    (Save our home)

Has anyone done this in the past as I know that this isn't a very common practice.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Default Chapter 20 Bankruptcy

The so-called "Chapter 20" bankruptcy isn't universally available. The biggest caveat I know of is that debtors who misses even one house payment subsequent to filing the Chapter 7 bankruptcy, but before completion of subsequent Chapter 13 proceedings, may end up losing their home.
