Default Re: landlord did not pay phone bills

Do you live in the residence with this landlord or did the landlord used to live there before you?

In many states a landlord is required to supply at least one working land phone line in a unit. But that is not the same thing really when someone is just renting a room. Can't tell from your post what exactly is the situation.

    Please post more information.
