I just found out we do have to go to mediation. My ex turned in his answer at 3pm yest when court was this morning. My ex and I agreed to home school. Our daughter is 7 and I have homeschooled her from Pre k -2nd grade and have records to prove it. He does not school her nor has records. I'm figuring that he will purposefully drag out mediation by saying he is not available. This could possibly go on a few more months. My daughter wants to go to school and ex will not allow. He says she is not old enough to decide that. I wonder what my chances would be of having a judge grant me temp custody so she can start school in 2 weeks? We have joint custody bit live 2 hrs apart. In his answer the only negative thing he said about me is that I work. I work M-F 8-5. He works from home sparingly. Has anyone ever benn through temp custody and how does it work? How long would it take for a judge to get it into court?
