Default Personal Property Damage Caused By Roommate's Pet

In GA, my roommate has 1 dog and 2 cats. I have 2 dogs. Her cats are not listed on the lease.

We have a pet gate to keep my dogs out of her room. She claims that my dog broke the gate down and chased the cat into her room thus causing scratches to her furniture and broke a expensive horse statue.

I have asked to discuss further and see the damage but she refuses.

Can she sue me for damage ?

    thanks

Of course she can. But to prevail she's going to have to prove that damage occurred, and that it occurred due to your negligence.
