I am currently on post-prison supervision in oregon. I was orginally on probation but i had a revoke for absconding and was placed on post-prison. This is my second set of violations since being on post-prison (i served 10 days and still have 170 sanction units). My original charges are out of another county in oregon . when i served my revoke i had to serve it in the county my charge was from. I have been absconding for about 8 months and want to turn myself in. However, i want to know the details before hand. Is it a bad idea to call my PO first and ask questions? Should i try to go see her first or go straight to the jail and turn myself in? Is it possible to be sanctioned back to the other county if i am not serving a revoke? and, in general, does it make any difference what i have done to better myself since i started absconding? for example, my PO said i was unable to go back to school, but i did and have got a 4.0 GPA since then.
Thank you
