Default Police: Shoppers Stepped Over Victim, The moral breakdown of America

    http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19587242...playmode/1098/

In Jewish law, one is absolutely forbidden to stand aside while someone is in peril. A failure to rescue or treat that person is tantamount to shedding their blood. One then becomes in the eyes of God as if one has murdered that person with their own hands. This is based on the biblical injunction, "You are your brother's keeper." From this, the Sages deduced that standing by while evil is being done is NOT allowed. Your blood is not redder than your fellow man's and one must not in any circumstances, abandon someone in distress.

The bystanders should be rounded up and put in jail.

Even the "Jewish State" of Israel does not follow all aspects of Talmudic law.

It is possible to bleed to death internally, so I am wondering if the other shoppers thought she was drunk or stoned. That would be a partial defense to their indifference. If the video shows her lying in a growing pool of blood as people step over her, that would be extremely disturbing.
