Effect Of U.S. Divorce In The Philippines

Hi, i am a foreigner in the USA and seeking to get divorce in the USA. Read in one of the thread about finding out from the country origin if they honor the U.S. divorce decree.

Can u explain this further. In terms of the chances of having the divorce application approved in the USA, and in later petitioning for the children that were left behind in the country of origin.

The Philippines has no divorce, does this mean that if i get to file the divorce in the USA....my USA divorce application may never get to be approved I want to get married to my US boyfriend...

There be no divorce here in the Philippines means, it does not honor a US divorce decree. But my question was will the US honor my application even if the other party I would like to divorce is in another country where divorce is not allowed?

They said I remain to be married in the Philippines even if i get divorced in the US. But since my intention is to get married to my US boyfriend cant I not get divorce there so my boyfirend and I can get married in the USA?
