A couple questions regarding that "database." I've heard of something called USMA or something.

1) Is it a certainty that our names have been put into this database?
2) How can we find out if we have or haven't been put into it?
3) Can they put us into it without notifying us, especially considering we're minors?

So, call Kohl's, ask to search our name in the USMA database?

Also, is it still possible to be hired at other stores, assuming the names are in the database?

Call Kohl's ask if your name was input into any database like choicepopint or any other you may want to know about. Like any employer they have option to hire or not regardless of database info. Having your name in database does not remove you from being hired but greatly reduces your chances of being hired. Would you hire a thief?

I haven't received the notice yet. It's only been a week. Seems like so much longer though. I'm anxiously awaiting this letter, but i'm afraid it's going to wind up taking a while to come and i'm gonna end up working during the time when the mail comes, and thus my parents are gonna get it before I do, so I'm really hoping it comes within the next 2-3 weeks...:-\

Yep... i seem to be in a similar boat as you are, the letter would be detrimental to my summer if my mother was to see it. I am hoping i intercept it before it gets into her hands. I just hope it comes sometime soon so i can get it over with.
