Well Today I was at my local store and I stole some food. I live in my own place for the first time and i'm hurting for money and I needed to eat. I know it's wrong......I know....but I did it anyways. I have done it there before, I try to be pretty careful about it, never been caught. I have a clean record. As I was leaving the store today there was a little dog running around. So I picked up the dog intending to call her owner. I passed an employee as I was driving out and gave him my name and number in case anyone called for the dog. He then asked it if was ok for him to take my license plate number too, and what was I suppost to say...no? So he took it. I ended up finding the dogs owner and saw the employee again and told him I found the owners and he was happy about it and smiled and we just left it there, a pleasant conversation.
Now I'm home and i'm all paranoid that he was on the lookout for my face or something because I have shoplifted there before.....probly like 5 times in the past month (i know it's horrible and stupid, I have no other food).
I just got a new job so I hopefully will never have to do this again. I definately will not be going back to that store (shouldn't have kept doing it there in the first place, pretty stupid)
What do you think? Why would he take my plate number for just the dog? Do you think it was for the stealing?
My car is registered with my parents, i'm 20.....i'm just praying no cops show up at their door.
Thanks all!
