Default Right To View Basis For Competitor's Advertising Claims

Hi, recently we have obtained from one of our customers a document made by our competitor with scientific finding on it that apparently shows our product to be inferior. They have used our product name directly and I was wondering if as a company we have a legal right to receive a copy of the full scientific report? i.e. not just the results.

Thank you for your time and help

If you sue them, you can get a copy of the report as part of the discovery process. Have you tried asking them for a copy, to substantiate their claim?
