hi
iv just been talking to my friend who has just found a letter sent to her mum in 2001 from her proposed 'lover'. now my friends mum left her husband in 2003 and they are now in the middle of a divorce settlement where she wants half the house etc. i do not know the ins and outs of it but the husband only knows that his wife commited adultery in 2003, with a different man to the one whom the letter is from. my friend dosnt know wat to do about the letter, but i thought it may prevent her mum from winning half the house if she made it knowledgable to her dad that she had found this and her mum has been lying about when she had an affair. now i may be totally wrong, but i do not want to see this woman take away half her family's house and life plus the pain she has caused them. the letter clearly states that the writer and my friends mum had seen each other very recently and that they were in love etc.
i hope you can help, because if this letter can not do anything to help her fathers case then there is no point in causing him more upset and angst to find out the affair(s) had been going on a lot loner than he knew.
Thank you
Louisa
