Default Workers comp settlements - how many?

All right, here's the question. I have heard that a person who collected workers compensation can settle more than once for the same injury. I know the state of Connecticut "buys out" a worker's comp injury upon retirement. Because of this "buy out", an employee is supposedly allowed to collect more than once during the employment history for the same injury. Is this true?

    Thanks, muchly.

    Default Settling Workers' Compensation Claim

It depends upon the nature of the settlement, and in some cases on the nature of the benefits. I suggest that, if you are going to try to achieve a multiple settlement, that you work with a workers' compensation lawyer in your state.
