A week ago, I got ticketed for going 78 in a 70 on I-49 in Louisiana. When the officer recorded my license #, he mistook a 3 for an 8. Is that enough to void the ticket if I challenged it in court? Alternatively, I’m an out-of-state driver with a Florida license. If I don’t pay the ticket or appear in court, what are the chances that such an error would prevent my license from being suspended in Florida? Coincidentally, I’ve also changed my address at the DMV since the ticket was issued.

Thanks, dan
