Default Waiting Period For An Expungement

1996 drug conviction and subsequent incarceration in the State of Michigan. Released in '03.

All of my research tells me that I can not get my record expunged for, at least, 6 months. My question is:

IS THERE ANY PRECEDENT STATING THAT MY CONVICTION CAN BE EXPUNGED NOW?

I now live in Arizona and I work in the telecommunications industry and I am catching hell trying to get a job. HELP ME

Default Re: Waiting Period For An Expungement

The statute dictates a five year waiting period before you can apply. Even after five years, there is no guarantee that a court will grant you an expungement. That's just the minimum waiting period for application.
