Default Re: Mother Refuses To Allow Children To Visit Father Out-Of-State

Can anyone tell me whether I can have passports issued to my toddler children revoked?

Their mother requested that I sign some document allowing her to get our boys passports for a possible trip to Quebec with her and her husband.

Given the fact that she is now planning on moving out of state and is not allowing me to spend time with our children that is not in the same state as where she lives, I am worried that she may, one day, move with our children to her husband's native England.

I was being cooperative when I agreed to sign the paperwork allowing passports to be issued to our children but if she cannot be as cooperative with me, it makes things very difficult, tense, and unfair to me--but more importantly, to our children.

You might need to take the issue to court and see if the court will order a revocation.

If there's an easier way, hopefully someone will post it.

OP could have the passport Flagged....I believe that you contact the agency that issues them.

If there is a bona fide reason to be concerned of flight, the court with jurisdiction over the custody case could be asked to impound the passports. It doesn't sound like there is any present basis for such a drastic move.
