Understanding Auto Insurance Policy Limits

Can someone explain to me what that means? If there are 2 cars infront of you and its a train collision.. your car is all the way to the back. There is one passenger in the car infront of you and 2 in the first car infront of the car infront of you, is this policy good for 25/50K per person or 25/50K for all three if all three sue? wish my boyfriend had never picked me up from work that day!!!!!!!!

Policy limits of $25K/$50K mean maximum coverage of $25K per individual claimant, and a maximum of $50K per incident. If more than two people sue, the third to settle or resolve their claim can be left with very little insurance coverage against which to collect the settlement or judgment.
