    Default Paint Peeling

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: pa
i purchased at 2020 ford f350 new in march of 2020, noticed a small spot in the door jamb when i touched it the clear coat peeled off. spot keeps getting larger and the paint underneath is as shiny as the rest of the truck, obviously re clear coated. this was never disclosed at time of purchase, since noticed the door in the same area seams slightly off color (deeper in color) i would have never purchased if i had known the vehicle was repainted what can it do?

Ask the dealer to repair the problem under your warranty.

If it's "as shiny as the rest of the truck," what is the problem?

Well...the rather obvious first step is to contact the dealer where you bought it to discuss the issue.

The PA New Motor Vehicle Damage Disclosure Act only requires disclosure of damage if the damage exceeded $500 or 3% of the MSRP. The lowest MSRP that I see for a 2020 F350 is over $38,000, so if the damage to the vehicle was less than about $1,140.00 there was no duty to disclose.
